Zinkplaat - Mooi Besoedeling Scratch Off Album Cover by Fanakalo
Zinkpaat's scratch-off album cover by Fanakalo is something I haven't seen before. The design has impressed me so much that I looked into the band more and decided they're pretty good to.
Fanakao (the designer) is located in South Africa and has some pretty cool stuff worth checking out also.
Until next time,

Tronic Studio's Architecture Video
Work has started on the construction of 56 Leonard Street, a 56-storey residential tower in New York designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron.
The tower, the architects’ first, will be built on the corner of Leonard Street and Church Street in Tribeca.
This video by Tronic Studio's is a must see. So beautiful and inspirational.

Water Well by Jan Inge Björklund at Björklund
Today while reading one our favourite design blogs, the Dieline, I stumbled upon 'Water Well.' As the Dieline stated, "Water Well is a new danish brand that supports danish children, animals, breast cancer and environment in need (CARE)."
I found this most interesting because of the movie, 'What the Bleep Do We Know' , they talk about Dr. Masaru Emoto who believed the way water is treated before entering the human body can effect human's negatively or positively. His methods were through music, prayer and written words on the container of water. This makes a lot of sense considering our contain a high percentage of water.
Check out this clip from the movie:

ibox Packaging & Suitable Forestry Initiative (SFI)
At ibox Packaging we take the environment very seriously and that is why we are becoming a member of Suitable Forestry Initiative. SFI is is a fully independent, charitable organization dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management. They work with conservation groups, local communities, resource professionals, landowners, and countless other organizations and individuals who share our passion for responsible forest management.
In regards to the packaging industry this is what SFI states on their website:
Retailers, printers, publishers, distributors and merchants are turning to SFI-certified papers and packaging materials to meet the growing demand for responsibly sourced forest products. SFI “percent content” and fiber sourcing labels make sustainable forestry less anonymous. They provide is a visual cue telling you and your customers the fiber used to produce paper and packaging products – from envelopes to juice boxes to magazines – is from a legal and responsible source.
The SFI program is the world’s largest single forest certification standard, and it is internationally recognized and accepted. This offers the advantage of a steady supply of certified products to meet the growing consumer demand. By choosing SFI-certified products, companies of all sizes can use their buying power to improve forest management while sending a clear signal to customers they care about forests.
While recovered fiber is an attractive choice, it usually only makes up a small percentage of any paper product. An SFI label completes the equation by confirming the rest of the wood fiber is from a responsible source. There are also SFI labels available to indicate the amount of recovered fiber content in a certified product.
At ibox Packaging we take the environment very seriously and are constantly improving the way to we do things. We are always looking for new information on better ways of treating our planet. If you have any insights to the industry and the way we can preserve the environment, please feel free to comment below or email us directly at social@522ibox.com.
